Fulham have made an improved bid of £20m for Scott McTominay after having an initial bid rejected by Manchester United, Sky Sports reports.
The £20m price tag is still well below United’s valuation. But it is understood the club are willing to compromise on the price and have agreed a £25m deal UFABET
Erik ten Hag is not keen on letting the Scotland international leave the club. With McTominay a key part of the team’s dynamic.
However, the Red Devils are keen to sell players to raise funds for new signings and are also keen to balance their accounts.
McTominay also wants regular first-team football and Fulham believe the player is keen to take on the challenge. After an initial bid of £17m was rejected.
There is confidence that both clubs will be able to reach an agreement.
Last summer, Manchester United rejected a £30m bid from West Ham for McTominay.
However, the report claims that the Red Devils have already rejected the offer from the London club. Likely because they want at least £30million for McTominay this summer.
The Scotland midfielder has one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, with the option to extend for a further year. But his role as a rotational player means United are open to selling him if the right offer is received.
